The 2011 Study will start June 12th at 9:30am at West Meadow Beach.

This will be the regular meeting time for community volunteers regardless of the tide. Volunteers are more than welcome to participate in research throughout the rest of the week, each week's schedule will be finalized ahead of time but is subject to change.

Volunteers should have the following during the study:

• Sunscreen/hat
• Water bottle
• Comfortable shoes

This year we're going to try to do a little beach cleanup as we search so a plastic bag is optional. Make sure you keep an eye out for poison ivy and do a tick-check when you get home.

If you see a terrapin you can call our hotline any time to report it. It is important for us to know how many turtles are seen even when researcher's are not present.
